There are several new features with these updates, in particular:
- Added native support to DSD256 only X40. Is also managed Gapless playback of DSD
- We have become an Official Partner Connect Spotify: CocktailAUDIO now supports Spotify Connect via Smartphone and Tablet iOS and Android, and through PC and MacOS!
- Added function to install the MusicDB on a network resource (such as a NAS). You can use a network attached storage (NAS) as storage for MusicDB. For example, you can create your MusicDB on your PC or NAS, when connected to the same local network CocktailAUDIO. Now it is therefore allowed to rip CDs directly within the NAS.
- New export function of entire Playlist on external USB storage media: is also created the corresponding file .m3u and .pls
- AIFF added to the options available for CD-ripping: You can now rip AIFF encoding (as well as WAV, FLAC, MP3 and OGG)
- Roaming function for Repeaters Wi-Fi: If you have an Extender's WiFi signal, the CocktailAUDIO will automatically choose the best signal to connect to your wireless network in a more stable and faster
- New WebGUI (WEB interface) with powerful new management features music database MusicDB
- Shutting down, it is reported presence of songs not yet converted (if ripped in encodings other than WAV). The conversion work will continue in the background the next time the CocktailAUDIO
- New function for automatic verification of the integrity of the MusicDB, with the possibility of running at shutdown or ignition
- Ability to completely remove the installation DVD metadata FreeDB, if you were using the CocktailAUDIO connected to the Internet (in this case the metadata is collected to date in real time directly from the web)
- Code optimizations management Ethernet network connection and Wireless
- Optimization of the volume level of listening to the FM radio which is now similar to that of MusicDB and iRadio only X30
- Updating Audio Codec only X40
- Eliminated the noise during key presses STOP / PLAY / NEXT / PREVIOUS
- Eliminated the noise by selecting Aux In, Digital In or Analog In
- Eliminated the noise while adjusting the volume
- Now you can adjust the volume when using the digital output of X40 for the signal from the digital / analog or digital in Aux in / Analog in X40
